It’s impossible for the body to function at its best when the diet lacks enough vitamins and mineral. Medical experts also frown upon the fact that the Cabbage Soup Diets doesn’t provide advice about the importance of exercise and behavior modification to help keep excess weight at bay. The Cabbage Soup Diet may keep you satisfied enough to sustain this very low-calorie diet for a week, but continuing this regimen for more than 7 days at a time is not recommended. Unfortunately, the weight loss that results from this diet is primarily “water weight” and not excess fat, which means that most often dieter regain the weight when they resume their normal diet: creating a huge disappointment for the dieter who endures the seven days of calorie reduction with hopes of permanent weight loss.
